Webinar Success Series II: Introductions that Sell
Description
A good webinar introduction will make your prospects want to buy from you before you’ve even made them an offer.
It will set you up as the authority in your subject matter and also have you seem relatable – so they trust what you have to say and feel comfortable asking you questions.
And, even if there are 100 other people on the broadcast – they want to feel like you are talking directly to them, which is possible in a great introduction.
Your webinar introduction sprouts the seeds that were sowed through your marketing. Now that a prospect has taken the initiative to sign up and attend the broadcast, it’s important we make a good first impression.
If we do that, we retain the leads we spend precious money collecting and can shepherd them through our content and toward the close.
If we don’t, we’ll have much fewer folks to present our offer to. And, chances are those people won’t be as engaged or enthusiastic as if we had a killer opening.
So, what are the pieces that make a great opening?
- Focusing on the audience’s perspective and taking a step back from your magic trick
- Bragging in a very specific way that makes us seem credible and an authority – and not like an egotistical dick
- Scripted content that will take a few runs to nail down
When you get this right, people will purchase your offer.
And if you don’t, they won’t. It’s as simple as that.
