Here’s something a robot wrote about selling with authenticity:
Do you know that feeling when you’re about to sell something and are not sure if it’s the right decision? Or, worse yet, what if your gut is telling you NOT to sell this product or service. You might be thinking “I’m a sales person! I need the money!” The thing is: selling with authenticity is an art form. It takes time and patience but ultimately allows people to buy from YOU because they TRUST YOUR BEING IN THE WORLD.
Now, I’m not the biggest fan of robots out there, but I’d have to say it’s onto something here. And I’d add one more thing: if you are not certain in your heart that you help people with your program or service, your sales will suck.
If it’s obvious to you that the person you’re talking to needs your help, it’s much more likely to be obvious to them too.
